Day 2-Google Tools for Schools
I am absolutely exhausted! I am excited to start creating my project and putting google tools to use. Something I need to remind myself of however, it that this is ALL new to me and that implementing all of these tools will simply not be possible. Using these valuable tools will be new to me and my students.

I feel a little overwhelmed too, but I think the pace of the class and the fact that they allow us to try each of the different tools with explicit directions and support has been very helpful. As far as implementing back at school, I think you just need to take it one piece at a time. I bet you will find that before long you will be comfortable with lots of different tools. I think having a Google Sites template for us all to work off of will be a good starting point. It will provide some continuity across curriculum areas. It's also nice that there are so many of us here at the training and we will be able to support each other.

ReplyDeleteAmy, you did a great job on your site yesterday. I think that your teamates will be very impressed. I am impressed. I hope that you have overcome your worry/fear of this technology and can see how it can help you and your students. I am glad that you had decided to join us this summer for the course.
